My sweet little Norah turned 2! The 4th of July means a whole lot
more to us now. Oh how we love our little darlin and can't imagine life
without her. Ben and I often go to bed talking about all the silly and
cute things she did that day. She is too smart for her own good and
over the past few months has started talking in full sentences. Norah
loves to sing and knows all the primary songs and some of the popular
songs on the radio. When we are driving in the car she can't help but
sing along, even if she doesn't know all the words :) In church she has
to have her own hymn book so she can sing as well.

| 1st Birthday |
 |
| 2 years! She loves balloons, couldn't even get her to look at the camera. |
Grandma and Grandpa were in town for Norah's birthday. She was ecstatic about the horse they gave to her. Unfortunately she doesn't quite use it correctly. She likes to carry it around by the head and play with it's hair while she sucks her thumb. Yep, still a thumb sucker, hopefully that bad habit will be gone by her next birthday!
Ben and I got her a tricycle, she doesn't really use that correctly either. She would rather just push it around. We'll give it time. Maybe she'll just go straight to riding a two wheeler ;)
Norah loves her chocolate just as much as her momma, so inevitably we did chocolate cupcakes with pink frosting for our girly girl.

| 1st Birthday Firework Show |
And of course, no Birthday celebration for Norah is complete without a firework show especially for her! It was pretty cold but she was so excited when the fireworks finally started. When I was in the hospital with her I remember hearing fireworks from my room. Her 1st birthday she saw a few go off but mostly slept through them. This year she was old enough to really enjoy them, and we enjoyed watching her.
Happy Birthday Norah, we adore you.
