My sisters family and Ben's parents stayed in town for Labor Day so we took them to see the downtown attractions.

Becca was able to come and visit from Boise State, so glad to see her again!

Luckily our apartment complex has a large community room. We spent a lot of time down there eating, chatting, and playing the Wii.

Best Day

Words can't describe the feelings inside; Norah's blessing day ranks up there with one of the best days of my life. I love her so much..and her daddy too :)


We were lucky to have family in town. Ben's parents, my parents and two younger sisters, and even my sister Kelly's family were able to drop in for the weekend.

Norah wore the same dress I was blessed in, even the booties. Thanks mom for keeping them in such great shape, I was so glad to have them!

We Missed It!

This little girl can ROLL OVER...and apparently we missed it! She was on her stomach enjoying some "tummy time" and the next thing we knew she was on her back again. Even though we missed it I am sure she will do it again real soon. She is only two months old but I am amazed at how strong she is getting.
We also blessed our beautiful baby this last weekend and were so very lucky to have lots of family town. We took tons of pictures and I will get some up soon...

"Get Your Groupon"

Love this catchy saying, and I actually bought into it last week. If you haven't heard about "Groupon" you should check it out. I was skeptical at first but they really do have some great deals. I use to love Gap when I was an adolescent. That was where most of my wardrobe was from. I don't really love their adult styles anymore but they still have some adorable childrens clothing. This past week groupon had a half off deal at Gap, and somehow I convinced Ben to let us take advantage if it. I think he likes to dress Norah in cute clothing just as much as I do :)

Lovin' Our Girl

Just one of the many perks of having a baby girl....Dresses! I love Sundays and the excuse it gives me for putting Norah in a dress. My mom bought her this dress and it's still a lil big on her but I thought we could get away with it this week. Love my little girl :)


In other blogging news...

Ben could not touch my wake boarding record on the Wii for a few months, in fact it was kind of a joke as he could barely beat 300! My record was 1200 and then my sisters came into town and we all got a little more practice. Needless to say I can't touch Ben's record now :0
We have enjoyed a little relaxation this summer and its going to get kind of crazy when Ben goes back to school in a few weeks.

Sister Visit

We loved having my sisters in town a few weeks ago. My sister Becca wasn't able to come down with my parents when they came to visit after we came home from the hospital, so she made a road trip on her own and brought along Emilee. Norah got spoiled with all the attention, and I got spoiled with some GREAT help, not only with Norah, but some housekeeping as well :) Thanks again girls, come back soon!

We took a trip out to a state park one day. It was pretty hot so I mostly just sat around in the shade with the baby. Next time I think we'll bring some swimming suits though as we found a fun swimming spot.

New Design

Not only has she been sleeping through the night this week, but this girl gives REAL smiles now! It makes it all so worth it.


Am I a lucky mommy or what?!

On The Mend

I am finally starting to feel better and get some energy back! I had another scare last week and went back to the doctors only to discover I had a large part of the placenta still inside me. Crazy stuff but I think we are good to go now...
It has been a whirlwind of a month. We are adjusting to life with a baby and we made the move last weekend to our new apartment. We are now officially apartment managers and enjoying having air conditioning. Yes I guess that is all I really care about right now, a baby that sleeps and cool air :)
We have had some fun this last week as my sisters have been in town. And good news, we got a new camera so hopefully I will find time to take more pictures and show you my beautiful new baby! But for now....I need a nap!

The Last Two Weeks...

Time goes by so quickly! We have been doing a lot of snuggling and sleeping at our house the last two weeks.
My family was in town last weekend and it was fun to have them around. They were such a good help and it was nice to have some company. They were also our designated photographers for a few days and got some great shots of Norah. Ben and I are going to have to get into picture taking quick before little Norah is already headed off to kindergarten. Neither of us are really into picture taking but now that we have a beautiful baby to photograph hopefully we will take pictures more often.
Ben and I are enjoying our sweet little girl and are learning a lot everyday. I am so grateful to finally have her in our lives and ever so thankful for her amazing daddy as well. Some days are hard, not going to lie, but its worth it so far. We love you Norah!
